Adolescence is a critical period in the detection and treatment of many psychiatric disorders. The transition between Mental Health Services for Children and Adolescents (CAMHS) and Mental Health Services for Adults (AMHS) can be very complicated and one of the weaknesses of health systems.
The objective of the project is to study this transition process and identify patients who abandon their treatment during the transition from adolescent to adult.
Among the preliminary results, we can highlight that 60.5% of the patients studied, leave the Mental Health Services for children and adolescents before making the transition, without a medical discharge, not finding significant differences in the sociodemographic variables between the groups .
