The Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Clínico San Carlos (FIBHCSC), within the framework of the San Carlos Healthcare Research, Outreach, and Innovation Program (IdISSC Program), has organized the 1st Contest: “Your Idea, Your Health” an initiative aimed at promoting a culture of innovation in the healthcare environment and transforming ideas, research, and developments into concrete solutions to improve assistance at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos.
Participant Requirements:
- Participation can be individual or collective.
- All participants must be professionals affiliated with FIBHCSC and/or the San Carlos Clinical Hospital.
- Applicants and all members of the working group must be affiliated with IdISSC at the time of the contest publication.
- Only proposals that include inventions or works already protected will be accepted, provided that the rights holder is the IdISSC management body.
Deadlines and Proposal Submission:
Proposals can be submitted from the publication date until November 10, 2023, through the Proposal Form (available in the Annex of the document with the competition’s rules)
Evaluation Criteria:
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Impact: clinical, economic, and perceived potential by beneficiaries.
- Viability and sustainability.
- Novelty and originality.
- Level of technology maturity.
Announcement Resolution:
The two proposals with the highest total score will be awarded “Diplomas” recognizing the innovative potential of these proposals. An Absolute Innovator Diploma will be awarded to the proposal with the highest score, and an Innovator Diploma will be awarded to the proposal with the next highest score.
The resolution will be published through the IdISSC website before the end of the year 2023. The diploma ceremony will take place in the San Carlos Pavilion auditorium on December 14, 2023.
